The police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of 18 – year – old Major Cunjah who died in an accident Thursday on the Aurora Public Road, Essequibo Coast.

According to a police report, at about 17:25 hrs, Cunjah of Pomona Housing Scheme, Essequibo Coast, was the pillion rider on a motor cycle when the driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed on the Aurora Public Road.

Both men received injuries and were admitted to the Suddie Hospital where Cunjah later succumbed.
