RAYBURN Morris was on Wednesday remanded by magistrate Judy Latchman after he was charged for manslaughter.Thirty-nine year old Morris of North East La Penitence was not allowed to plead to the indictable charge which read that on April 2, 2016 he unlawfully killed John Joseph.
The matter was adjourned until tomorrow.
Police reports stated that John Joseph, 64, of Triangle Backdam, North West District, intervened in an argument between a man and his son. The man was shot with an arrow to his chest.
The man then pulled out the arrow from his chest and subsequently stabbed Joseph to his body with it. Joseph was taken to the Baramita Health Centre where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
