Clothes vendor on drugs charge

A FORTY- FOUR-YEAR old clothes vendor was on Wednesday remanded by Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan after he was charged for possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking. Joseph Ramsey of Kitty Railway denied the allegation, which stated that on March 24, 2016, at Kitty, he had in his possession 25 grams of cannabis.
The facts were not stated, but the defendant was remanded until April 18, 2016.
