Dillon Mahadeo and Candace Lynch stood tall when the dust settled in the second edition of the E-Networks sponsored Fitness Challenge at the National Park yesterday. Mahadeo, who finished runner- up in the inaugural competition last year, dominated the field this time around after amassing 395 points to leave his nearest competitor and second place winner Carlos Mendonca, who made his debut appearance, 63 points off the pace.

Jeffrey Marino finished third with 328 points, as renowned powerlifter Osmand Mack finished fourth with 326 points.
For his win, Mahadeo picked up $200,000 , the first place trophy and the title of fittest man locally, while Mendonca collectedd $50,000 and Marino $20,000.
On the distaff end, Lynch (390) pipped Semonica Duke by five points (385), while Neesa Bhagwandin finished third.
For her win, Lynch also received $200,000, while Duke carted off $50,000 and Bhagwandin $20,000.
On the team end of things, Life Gym finished first with 975 points, ahead of Elite Systems 969, Crossfit Bell-Air (866), and Fitness Paradise with 773.
The day’s sponsors included DeSinco Trading, Axe Apparel, Fitness Express, Healing Water, Windjammer International Chinese and Comfort inn , Wings Investment, The Trophy Stall, Genesis Fitness Express, Wings Transportation Services and Baganara Island Resort, Courts, and Banks DIH through its Aqua Mist, Vita Malt and Powerade brands.
