A BELVEDERE, Corentyne man was shot and injured by bandits Thursday night at his home. In a statement,the police said that about 21:00hrs on Thursday, mini-bus driver Takraj Boodram , 33 years, of Belvedere South Squatting Area, Corentyne, Berbice, was about to enter his premises when three men approached him. One of the men who was armed with a firearm, discharged a round that hit him to his left shoulder. The men escaped on bicycles. Takraj Boodram has been admitted to hospital as the investigations continue.
