THE Guyanese Doubles pair of Sunburst champion Narayan Ramdhani and Jonathan Mangra are into the Semi-finals and Medal Round of the Peru Junior Under-19 International Championships 2016.

The duo defeated Peru’s Renzo Camogliano Telge and Matias Zamorano Ramos 21-8, 21-17 in the quarter-finals Boys’ Doubles.
In the quarter-finals Singles Narayan Ramdhani lost to Nicolas Macias 21-18, 21-18.
Ramdhani was pressured mostly in the back-hand side of the court where his weak point is, as he is still recovering from his knee ligament injury which caused him a two-month’ delay with his training.
However, the Guyana Badminton Association (GBA) was happy to learn that he was still able to play well and that his injury was not affecting him en route to his usual vigorous training schedule when he returns home.
