CHIEF of Staff of the Guyana Defence Force Brigadier Mark Phillips HAS retained the presidency of the Guyana National Rifle Association (GNRA) following its annual General meeting and election of office bearers over the weekend.The body has also retained its two vice- presidents in Richard Fields and Paul Slowe while the Honourable Secretary remains Ryan Sampson.
Lieutenant Colonel (retired) Terrence Stuart will take up the helm as the new treasurer and replaces Ray Beharry while the assistant secretary/treasurer is Hemant Narine.
Mahendra Persaud retains the full bore captaincy while his deputy is Dylan Fields
.The Smallbore Captain is Dale Hing and vice-captain is Gordon Richards
The Committee members are Dr. Johan DaSilva, Lennox Braithwaite, Sherwin Felicien while the auditors are Murtland Smith who replaces Terrene Stuart and Leo Ramalho.
Prior to the election of office bearers, Secretary Sampson gave an overview of the body’s activity for the 2015 year.
