TWO judges, Justices Jo-Ann Barlow and Seunarine Beharry recently granted seven petitioners bail totalling $1,625,000 pending the hearing of their cases.The following shows the offences, the offenders and the amount of bail granted to each petitioner.
Robbery under arms, Ian Campbell $150,000; Possession of ammunition, Richards Edwards $200,000; Possession of ammunition, Amy Springer $200,000; Fraudulent conversion, Andrew James $400,000; Possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking, Mohamed Shamar $500,000 and Shedo Bangat $100,000; and Escaped from lawful custody, Malcolm Etwaru $75,000.
