In his brief remarks he declared that he was happy to be starting the tournaments this year for the LGC, and again pledged the support of his company to the LGC. He also mentioned that he was looking forward to seeing many youths and more adults involved in golfing in Guyana.
Golf Club president, Mr Oncar Ramroop, noting that the condition of the access road would have prevented some persons from coming to the Club, appealed for those present to see how they could garner assistance to get the road repaired urgently.
Efforts via the Regional Development Council and the Neighbourhood Democratic Council had not yielded fruit so far, but the road is in need of urgent attention.
Ramroop also expressed gratitude to Caesar for the good support of the Golf Club, and also extended New Year greetings to all club members and their families, wishing them lots of golfing in 2016.
