Must keep the peace for two years

A HUSBAND standing in court on Thursday to answer two assault charges was given a chance after no evidence was offered against him by his wife and daughter.Sidney London appeared before city magistrate Faith Mc Gusty to answer to a charge that, on January 12, 2016, at Meadowbrook, Georgetown, he unlawfully assaulted his wife Wendy London, causing her actual bodily harm.

He was also charged with assaulting his daughter, Elisabeth London, at the same time and place as the assault on his wife was carried out.

Both his wife and daughter declined to offer evidence against him, and the charges were dismissed. He was, however, placed on a bond to keep the peace for a period of two years.
