CHIEF Magistrate Ann McLennan gifted a burglary accused $30,000 bail as his Christmas present when he appeared before her on Wednesday at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court. Paul Marciano,41, of 12 Water Lilly Street, Burnham Drive, Linden pleaded not guilty to the charge which read that between December 4-5 at Christiansburg, Linden he broke into the dwelling home of Charlene Knox and stole her Samsung laptop and phone valued $390,000.
Police Prosecutor Deniro Jones made no objections to bail, which was granted by the Chief Magistrate. The matter was transferred to Linden Magistrate Court for January 19.
Marciano before leaving the Chief Courtroom wished her a blessed holiday period.
