TWO persons are missing following a collision between two boats in the Mazaruni River late last night.Initial reports have given the names of the missing men as Roy Roopnarine and Trevor Persaud, and both are said to be boat captains.
An online media outlet say one of the boats was travelling to Itaballi from Bartica, and the other in the opposite direction.
Following the mishap, a search team comprising police and boaters was quickly assembled, but up to press time, the missing men had not been found.
