P&P Insurance Brokers and Consultants Limited has extended Christmas cheers to 10
care-giving, charitable organisations, donating $100,000 to them each. The donations were made recently at the National Library.
Company Director Mr Bish Panday said the insurance firm was very happy to do the
good gesture, which has become an annual exercise during the Christmas holidays.
“All of you in your own way have been making a positive impact on the lives of the
less fortunate and we are happy to contribute to the cause,” said Mr Panday.
Acknowledging that the day-to-day running of charitable organisations can be financially
stressful, Mr Panday said the money will come in handy.
Over the years, P&P has embarked on reaching out to communities and assisting the less
fortunate.
“Today is another manifestation of that commitment which we hope to continue with in the
future,” the P&P Director said.
The charitable organisations that benefitted are Bless the Children Home, Canaan
Children Home, Ptolemy Reid Rehab Centre, Uncle Eddie’s Home, Friends of the Archer’s Home,
the Dharam Shala, David Rose School for the Handicapped, Cheshire Homes Guyana, Hauraruni
Girls Home and Bright Horizon Family.
The recipients expressed gratitude to the P&P Group, and assured the company that the money
will be put to good use.
