Three bandits were on Friday arrested minutes after they robbed a city furniture retail outlet, police have confirmed. In a release police said that about 14:45h three men armed with handguns entered the AH&L Outlet at Main Street, Georgetown, and held up the supervisor, a clerk and a customer and took away an undisclosed sum of cash and two cell phones and escaped in a motor vehicle. Police anti-crime patrols responded to the report and the motor vehicle was later intercepted in Middle Street, Georgetown, with three men inside who matched the descriptions of the perpetrators of the armed robbery. They are in police custody assisting with the investigations.
