– Team Minions, Team Rising Stars Dominate

Team Minions and team Rising Stars were successful on the second night of the Farfan and Mendes Christmas team squash tournament at the Georgetown Club.
Team Minions swept seven games enroute to a demolition of their opponents team Bungatuffies, while team Rising Stars were equally dominant with seven wins over team “D”.
Gianni Carpenter was the sole victor for team “D” when he defeated Dominic Collins of Rising Stars in straight games.
Despite that loss Rebecca Low fought to a 3-2 win over Jael Gaskin to spare team Rising Stars any further blushes on the evening.
Georgiana Fernandes ensured team Bungatuffies had at least one victory as she beat Haley Carpenter (team Minions) 2-1, while Makeda Harding recovered well from a first game loss to Maya Collins to win 3-1, capping off a dominant night for team Minions, who have now beaten both their opponents. The tournament is expected to conclude tomorrow.
