ONCE again, fans from the ‘Westside’ are gearing for the much anticipated Annual Parika Car and Bike Show which will kick off tomorrow at the Parika Community Centre Ground.This time around, the mega event, which is being hosted by To-To Gas Station Sand and Stone Depot, will see a much larger influx of vehicles entering the various events which allow winnings amounting to over $800 000 in cash and prizes.
Some of the ‘big-names’ slated for a fiery faceoff are Massive Team, Wolferine, Red Jet, ‘A’ Team, Star Car, Hot Man, Hunter, and Junior Sheriff.
Both bikes and cars, as well as vans and buses can compete in the Mini-Extreme, Open Extreme, Cleanest Sound, Cleanest Vehicle and Bus With the Most Girls competitions.
This time around too, the event has also attracted a much larger number of sponsors, including To-To Gas Station, Bulk Motor Oil, Two Brothers Gas Station, Sonny’s Sawmill, Stag Beer, and Khan’s Construction.
Also supporting the event are R. Ruben Sawmill, Benjie Stockyard and Tug and Barge Service, Big Shaw Cargo Boat Service, Pandit Auto Spares, Yaga Electrical Workshop, and Pargoo General Store.
Rounding off the lot are Prakash General Store, and Mangal Lumber Yard.
Admission to this event is quite affordable.
