Colours Boutique and Trophy Stall of Bourda Market are partnering with the organisers of the 2015 Guinness Greatest of the Street Futsal Football tournament as sponsors for the Georgetown leg of the national championships.The popular Robb Street boutique will be outfitting the teams with uniforms while Trophy Stall will be the providers of the trophies.
Manager of Colours Boutique Rodwell Greaves handed over the gear to Banks DIH Limited representative Shivini Tulshi during a simple ceremony at Thirst Park Thursday.
Both Greaves and Trophy Stall Proprietor Ramesh Sunich expressed appreciation for being a part of the tournament.
The Georgetown leg of the tournament kicked off last Friday and will run until December 12.
Eight more first-round matches will be played on Saturday evening at Albouystown tarmac starting at 19:30 hours.
The remaining zone playoffs will take place in Berbice, West Demerara, Linden and East Coast Demerara leading up the National championships where Guyana’s representative team will be selected to participate in the Guinness Caribbean Street Football Challenge in June in Catries, St. Lucia.
The Guinness Greatest of the Street is organised and sponsored by Banks DIH Limited and Guinness in association with Petra Organisation.
