The Cliff Anderson Sports Hall (CASH) will come alive tonight when the final of the SANN Sports/ Banks DIH FUTSAL Tournament for Ministries and Corporations is staged. The action starts at 19:00 hrs with two supporting games before the grand finale.In the night’s opener, Unstoppable Bent Street collide with Sparta Boss, to be followed by a GT All Stars side against the National Rugby team. The finalists competing for the Trophy Stall Championship Trophy will bring together the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Banks DIH.
Both captains expressed confidence at capturing the title which sets the stage for an exciting final.
The final would also offer patrons other side attractions with 007 Promotions’ guest appearance of popular Jamaican artiste POPCORN along with Dan English, Quacy ACE and other local artistes. According to a press release, part proceeds from the gate receipts will be donated to the Cancer Institute in the fight against Breast Cancer and raising awareness. Admission to tonight’s final is $1,000. (Ras Wadada)
