A transformational task force was Friday approved by the University of Guyana’s Council to work with all stakeholders to devise a credible plan to address some of the chronic issues plaguing the University, Chancellor Nigel Harris said Saturday afternoon.Speaking at the University’s 2015 convocation, Harris said: “UG is not a government responsibility alone, not a UG management and staff responsibility; and it is critical that all sectors of our nation re-engage to carry this institution to the next level for our sake and for the sake of generations to come.” Details in the Sunday Chronicle.
