Dear Editor,
I WISH to bring to your attention my disappointment with the operation of the Essequibo Coast Supreme Court.Quite shockingly, I recently learnt that the Court is operating without the supervision and guidance of a “qualified individual” as its Supervisor, and that it has been operating in this condition for quite a while.
As a former juror, I would have had several encounters with the clerk who is now acting as the supervisor, and this is where my disappointment lies. An individual with no sort of qualification, and lacking what appears to be proper customer service training, has been placed to function in such a dignified position. Are we moving forward, or are we heading in a backward direction?
I am asking that the relevant department should look into this matter urgently. Qualified individuals should be available to fill these posts.
Yours truly,
Concerned Citizen
