THE police have said two men have confessed to killing gold miner, Sheldon Rodrigues, a 36-year-old of Onderneeming Village, Essequibo Coast. According to a police release, detectives in ‘F’ Division are currently wrapping up their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of Rodrigues, which occurred around 02:15 hrs on November 2, 2015, at Falls Top, Arimu, Cuyuni River. Two suspects who have since confessed to the crime are in custody and are likely to be charged and placed before the court.
