Harris Colour Centre opens in Diamond

– Continues partnership with gov’t on low-cost housing

HARRIS Paints opened a new “colour centre” at Diamond, East Bank Demerara on Saturday.The company has an agreement with the government to supply paint to the low-cost homes at a reduced price.
Minister within the Ministry of Communities Keith Scott, praised the CEO of Harris Paints International Mr. Ian Kenyon and his team for upholding their standards and for using the latest technology to offer quality products.
Minister Scott said that Harris Paints has not only responded to the demands of the local market, but has proven receptive to government policies regarding home ownership and enhancing community life.
Harris Paints International has been in Guyana for the past 21 years, and the Diamond outlet is its fourth company store here.
Kenyon said the purpose of Harris Paints is to enrich lives by providing ideas and inspiration that enable fellow Guyanese to decorate, enhance and protect their environment with the products and services Harris produces.
Harris Paints International, which is also known as the Caribbean Champions of Colour, plans to continue expanding its service throughout Guyana.
