Scotiabank wins best digital bank award – for fifth consecutive year

SCOTIABANK has been recognised by Global Finance Magazine as the Best Digital Bank (formerly the Best Internet Bank Award) in Guyana for 2015. This is the fifth consecutive year this prestigious title has been bestowed upon the bank. Scotiabank also received Best Digital Bank recognitions in Anguilla, Antigua & Barbuda, The Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Costa Rica, Dominica, The Dominican Republic, Grenada, Haiti, Jamaica, St. Kitts-Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Maarten, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad & Tobago, The Turks and Caicos Islands and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Winning banks were selected on the basis of the following criteria: strength of strategy for attracting and servicing digital customers; success in getting clients to use digital offerings; growth of digital customers; breadth of product offerings; evidence of tangible benefits gained from digital initiatives; and web/mobile site design and functionality.
