MR TAJPAUL ADJODHEA, Berbice Area Manager of Hand-in-Hand Mutual Fire & Life Insurance Companies, was, for a second term, elected president of the Central Corentyne Chamber of Commerce (CCCC) during the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the CCCC held earlier this month.Other officers of the previous executive were also unanimously re-elected to their respective positions.
Mr Surendra Ganesh, Chief Executive Officer of Nand Persaud Group Packaging, remains as Vice President;
Mr Harry Dass Ghaness, Manager of the Rose Hall Town Branch of the Republic Bank(Guyana) Limited, was re-elected as Treasurer; Ms Earlene Dawson, Manager of the Rose Hall Town branch of the Demerara Bank Limited, was re-elected as Secretary; Mr Bhigroog Poonai of Poonai’s Pharmacy at Rose Hall Town was re-elected as Assistant Treasurer; Mr Krishnanand Raghunandan, an anthropologist, was re-elected as Assistant Secretary; and Mr Mohamed Raffik of Raffik & Sons Construction at Williamsburg was re-elected as Public Relations Officer.
Council members are Mr Deonarain Balram of D. Balram (Shane) & Son of Rose Hall Town; Mr Anand Matadeen of Matadeen’s Trading at Belvedere; Mr Imran Hamid of Imran & Son & Daughters at Rose Hall Town; Mr Subramani Mangali of Permaul Trading & Distribution at Albion; Ms Bibi Azeez of Bibi’s Travels at Rose Hall Town; and Mr Mohindra Persaud, General Manager of Nand Persaud & Co. Limited at No. 36 Village, Corentyne.
