EASTER is a time for sharing, and People’s Progressive Party/Civic (PPP/C) Prime Ministerial Candidate, Elisabeth Harper did just that last Saturday when she distributed kites to scores of children in her hometown Kitty neighbourhood. She not only mingled and chatted with the boys and girls of the Sadr Boys and Girls Orphanage in Kitty, but also did likewise with children in Albouystown, in southern Georgetown.

On Thursday last, Mrs. Harper also distributed kites to children in Linden, and met with several groups in that mining town.
Mrs. Harper said that she has always promoted the true meaning of Easter, which she believes has lessons for all Guyanese. She has always been a strong advocate of promoting seasons and events which bring families closer and unite Guyanese around common themes such as forgiveness, love and patience.
The PPP/C Prime Ministerial Candidate believes that Guyanese must continue to work hard to achieve their dreams, and urged that they strive to understand the importance and significance of Easter. (Rebecca Ganesh)
