RORAIMA Airways held its annual Christmas Party for the children of Santa Mission on Saturday last.The event was held this year at the Arrow Point Nature Resort, where children were not only greeted and given presents by Santa Claus, but also enjoyed a number of activities, and treated to Christmas lunch with Santa.

According to Gerry Gouveia Jnr., one of the directors of Roraima Airways, this yearly event, ongoing for approximately 20 years, targets the children of Santa Mission because it’s the largest community in which the company carries out its operations.
More than 50 children were present at the party last Saturday, and the junior Gerry Gouveia noted that the party is held for all the children of the community, so that no one misses out on the fun experiences.

Upon arrival at Arrow Point, the children sang a Christmas song for the staffers of Roraima Airways, after which they went on a hunt to find Santa, as they do every year.
After finding Santa, the children were presented with gifts, and participated in a number of activities before having lunch with Santa Claus.

The young Gouveia said it is important for the company to give back to the community and, most of all, the children, because it is a joy for the company to be able to put smiles on faces of numerous children every year.
