LEG-spinner Devendra Bishoo has been named in the West Indies-A squad that will tour Sri Lanka next month.
Batsman Kirk Edwards and left-arm spinner Nikita Miller, who were dropped from West Indies’ ODI squad that will play in India in October, also feature.
Bishoo, 28, last played in the A-team in June 2012. He had played 11 Tests and 13 ODIs in 2011 and 2012 – including debuting in one-day internationals during the 2011 World Cup – but then his form fell away.
In Guyana’s final first-class game last season, in April, he took 15 wickets against Trinidad & Tobago, and was subsequently picked in the Sagicor side that played the visiting Bangladesh-A.
West Indies-A will play three unofficial Tests in Sri Lanka, between October 11 and 28, and three one-dayers between November 1 and 5.
