TEN female players have been called to the Linden team which will be taking on Georgetown on Saturday night when the Guyana Amateur Basketball Federation’s Inter Association basketball championship bounces off in the mining town of Linden.

A release from the Linden Amateur Basketball Association has shoen that Ann Gordon will coach the female Linden team which will comprise Sonia Rodney, Shakeila Sampson, Kenesha Leacock, Shauna Chester, Anazo Gladstone, Tamera Hunter, Nicasi Mitchell, Jenelle Belle, Nichola Jacobs and Makeda Rogers.
Meanwhile, efforts are being made to have another supporting game to the Linden and Georgetown men’s clash with an Under-19 game involving the top Linden players just out of the Linden Secondary Schools Under-19 basketball championship.
