Taylor always wears a lopsided smile and his obviously pleasant personality are good qualities any young man would like to possess, but these he is outfitted with makes him extraordinary.

He has a lot to offer and has invested his life in music and has worked with both local and international artistes but despite that remains humble.

Taylor is also behind many of the local advertisements we see on television and he has that talent which makes his job very simple.

Speaking to the Sunday Chronicle on Thursday, Taylor said that there is a lot to him and at the same time there isn’t.

He is a music producer/sound engineer and does everything related to audio such as mixing tracks, recording songs among other music related things.

Taylor works at the Brutal Tracks Recording Studio located on Waterloo Street, Georgetown, since 2008 and would not change his career because he simply enjoys his job.

He got into music when a friend, T Chris $, a local rap artiste started to show up at his home on Sundays to record songs after which he became so engrossed in it but never thought it would later become his career.

Taylor, a Kitty resident, is unmarried but is the father of two children.
He stated that Brutal Tracks Recording Studio is equipped with high-end equipment in the pro-tools brand name which is considered the highest standard of equipment for recording studios.
Apart from songs, the studio does jingles and Taylor is even versed in live shows and even though his work entails long hours it is not a bother because once he is working on music it doesn’t matter if he gets home in the mornings.

He said: “I wouldn’t switch careers now that I have found the one I enjoy and I have a plan in which is will push local music to the highest level since there is so much talent here in Guyana so that Guyanese music will be where it should in the international scene.”

In his advice to local artistes, Taylor encourage them to keep doing better until each song becomes better than the last one to achieve the desired purpose intended.
