– outgoing passenger detained

AT about 13:45 hrs yesterday, ranks of the Police Narcotics Branch at the CJIA conducted a search on the baggage of a passenger on an outgoing flight to Canada. A report from the Guyana Police Force said a quantity of cocaine was found concealed in the false bottoms of both of his suitcases.
The man has been arrested and is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
