ORIELLE Fiedtkou, an excavator operator, of Lower Kara Kara, along the Soesdyke/Linden Highway, was put on $100,000 bail last Monday when he appeared before Magistrate Faith Mc Gusty charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm. He denied the allegation that he committed the offence on Joseph Cornelius on Christmas Day at Mackenzie, Linden.

Police Corporal Renetta Bentham, prosecuting, did not object to pre-trial freedom but asked that the defendant be placed on a bond to be on good behaviour pending the outcome of the case.
The prosecutor said the virtual complainant suffered injuries to the left side of his temple.
Defence counsel Peter Hugh claimed Fiedtkou had been in custody for more than 72 hours.
The case has been put off to January 9.
