CHAINSAW operator Filton Hart, 38, was remanded to prison on a murder charge last Monday.Before Magistrate Faith Mc Gusty, he stood calmly with a pleasant face, accused of having, on Wednesday, December 25, at Kwakwani, Berbice River, murdered Marlon Sam.
Police had previously reported that Sam, 23, of Kwakwani Park, Berbice River, was killed at Kwakwani around 23:00 hrs that day, following an argument with another man during which he was stabbed in the chest.
But no narrative was offered in court before the case was put off to January 10.
