APNU Councillor Jevaughn Stephen praises Region 6 Administration for work done for 2013

AT the last meeting of the Region 6 Regional Democratic Council for 2013, APNU Councillor ,Jevaughn Stephen was high in praise for the work done by the Region 6 Administration for the year 2013.He identified the many completed projects that were beneficial to the region’s residents, and commended the stewardship of the Chairman, the Regional Executive Officer and other principal officers of the region. He posited that the same progress experienced in 2013 would roll over to the Work Programme of 2014.
He commended the Regional Administration for quick response to issues raised by the opposition at the Regional Democratic Council meetings. These sentiments were also expressed by other councillors from the opposition benches.
The Regional Chairman also expressed satisfaction with the way the business of the Regional Democratic Council was conducted this year. He commended councillors for exemplary behaviour, and said that even though there were differences of opinion, those were conveyed in a civil and cordial manner.
The Regional Chairman thanked all the councillors for working in the best interest of the region’s people in 2013, and expressed hope that 2014 would see more benefits being accrued to the people of Region 6.
