Where did all the money go?

THE Local Government Minister told reporters that the PNC-led grouping shamelessly refuses to accept responsibility for the care of the city, adding that between 2007 – 2013 central government bailed out the Council on several occasions, all of which total in excess of $300 billion.

The PPP should have spent the money on local government elections whereby Hammie Green and his PNC crew would have been on the breadline by his own supporters.
PNC supporters have no morals and no shame.
Had it been a PPP member being Mayor of Georgetown doing what Hammie Green is doing, Guyanese would have seen mass street protests and PNC favoured chants- “So and so must go”; “Enough is enough”.
People expressed the view that the holding of local government elections, which were last held in 1994, is the answer to the city’s garbage and flooding woes.
The PPP and the majority of Guyanese know PNCites can’t be trusted when it comes to ” big money.”
The PPP and the majority of Guyanese know PNCites do not have the brains to run their households much less a city.
It’s a proven fact the PNCites ran Guyana into the ground to a dead halt, and that Guyana was in a dog fight with Haiti to see who will be the poorest in the Western Hemisphere.
The big question now is: where did all that money go if Georgetown is still stinking and sinking from floods?
