‘Spicy Dish’ break and enter defendant granted bail

DENNIS Simon (no address given) was yesterday ordered to post $100,000 bail, when he appeared before Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry on a break and enter charge. 

He pleaded not guilty to the offence, particulars of which said, between October 21 and 22, he broke and entered ‘Spicy Dish’ in Kitty, Georgetown, from where he stole two pans of pine tarts and other delicacies, valued $71,000, property of Karen Pollard.
Simon informed the Court that he was previously convicted of unlawful wounding and the burglary case was put off to October 29.
