AN Albouystown resident was robbed and shot as he was about to enter his home yesterday morning when he was confronted by two men on bicycles.Police reported that Christopher Wayne, 22, of Calendar Street, Albouystown, Georgetown, was about to enter his premises at about 03:50 hrs yesterday when the men took away his cell phone, silver jewellery and $12,000 in cash. As the assailants were leaving, police stated, Wayne picked up a stone with the intention of throwing it at them when one of the men shot him to his abdomen. Wayne has been admitted a patient at the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC).
