THE Ministry of Home Affairs has commended the vigilance displayed by members of the #65 Community Police Group (CPG), as well as the recovery of a motor car by members of the CPG # 2 Sub-Division which was high-jacked on Mandela Avenue in Georgetown.The ministry, in brief and separate statements Monday, commended the efforts of # 65 CPG members for their vigilance on Sunday 13th October, 2013, which led to the arrest of a suspect who had in his possession two grammes of marijuana.
It also commended the efforts of members of the CPG # 2 Sub Division Georgetown who were on patrol duty on Friday 11th October, 2013, and were able to recover a motor car which was high jacked from the owner on Mandela Avenue.
