“If you do not attend the event, you can make a donation to Step by Step Guyana… a small donation (would be welcome), even if it’s (just) a $1000… It’s for the children,” she encouraged.
She disclosed that Roshana will leave Guyana immediately after the charity event to begin her quest for the Miss Universe 2013 pageant, and added that it is somewhat of a farewell event for her as well. “So persons can come out, take photos of her, meet and greet, offer her your wishes, and give her any advice you want.”
Rambalak said Roshana is ready for the pageant in Moscow, Russia on November 9. She is being groomed by a number of experienced trainers. One of Roshana’s personal trainers is Richard Young, a well known Caribbean fashion expert, who was the trainer of former Miss Universe 1998, Trinidadian Wendy Fitzwilliam.
At the end of the evening, the lucky ticket holders can win fantastic prizes in a drawing that would be done. Prizes include two tickets to the Rihanna Concert; two VIP tickets to the R. Kelly concert, compliments of HJTV; and one cellular phone, compliments of Cellular Plus.

A well-packed entertainment package has been created, and will feature hot and exciting dances from Apsara and Nachgana, an appearance by ‘Feed the Flame Band, a fashion display and a performance by the popular Andy Rattan.
This event also serves as a ‘goodbye and off to Moscow’ gesture for the new Miss Guyana Universe, Katherina Roshana.
