Woman allegedly caught in sting operation remanded for stealing milk

SELF-employed Alison Dailey of Lot 6 Adelaide Street Charlestown, Georgetown was yesterday remanded to prison until October 4 when she appeared before Magistrate Ann McLennan to answer a simple larceny charge, which stated that on Tuesday, September 24, at Sherriff Street, Campbellville, Georgetown, she stole from Fawaaz Mohamed four tins of FernLeaf milk powder valued at $4,790.

Police Corporal Dinero Jones, prosecuting, successfully objected to bail on the ground that a sting operation was conducted by the police and the stolen items were found in the latter’s possession.
