46-year-old Walter Bintiny of Lot 36 Wortmanville, Georgetown, was yesterday remanded to prison when he appeared before Georgetown Magistrate Faith McGusty to answer a narcotics charge.

He pleaded not guilty to the offence, which said that on Tuesday, September 24, at the Avenue of the Republic in Georgetown, he had in his possession 21 grammes of cannabis sativa (marijuana) for the purpose of trafficking.

He was remanded to prison, and the case was set for recall on October 14.
