El Salvador bans 14 internationals for life for match-fixing

EL SALVADOR has banned 14 international players for life for match-fixing, the country’s football federation (FESFUT) said yesterday.
One other player was given an 18-month ban, two were suspended for six months and one was acquitted while four more will face further investigations, FESFUT president Carlos Mendez told a news conference.
