CJ grants 10 petitioners $2.9M+ bail for various offences

LAST Friday, Acting Chief Justice Mr. Ian Chang, SC, granted 10 petitioners bail totalling more than $2.9M, pending hearing of their respective cases.
Particulars are set out below:

Darrel Darret, for possession of narcotics, was granted $500,000 bail; Loknauth Danesur was granted $400,000, and Adesa Holligan, $75,000.
Leroy Hader, for possession of ammunition, was granted $100,000 bail; for possession of a firearm, $150,000 bail; and for robbery under arms, $200,000 bail.
Clayton Westford, for setting fire to a public building, was granted $500,000 bail.
Shein Rodrigues, for possession of a firearm and ammunition, was granted $500,000 bail.
Royston Thomas, for threatening language and assault, was granted $40,000 bail.
And Wesley Harte, for conspiracy to traffick in persons, was granted $500,000 bail, bringing the total bail granted to the sum of $2,965,000.
