Bishops’ High gets musical instruments – compliments of Food for the Poor

Food for the Poor (Guyana) Inc.  ,yesterday, donated a complete set of marching band instruments to Bishops’ High School to assist them to improve their musical programme.

altThe instruments include saxophones, trumpets and a drum set, among other gadgets.
Manager-in-Charge at Food for the Poor (Guyana) Inc.,  Mr Kent Vincent said  that in light of the school’s thriving music programme, which is aimed at improving the musical skills of the students, the organisation was  quite happy to donate the instruments.
The presentation was done in the boardroom of Food for the Poor Inc. at Festival City, Georgetown.
Acting Head Teacher of Bishops’ High, Ms Marilyn Gibson upon receiving the musical instruments  commended the organisation for the good work it has been doing and acknowledged the generous  donation to the school. She also noted that the instruments will be of immense benefit to the music students at the school.
