A TEENAGER, who is charged with possession of an ice pick without lawful authority or reasonable cause, was granted $5,000 bail yesterday.

Alex Mendonca, 18, of Lot 4 West Ruimveldt, appeared before Magistrate Judy Latchman and pleaded not guilty to the offence, particulars of which said, on Saturday, July 20, on Longden Street, also in Georgetown, he had the implement without lawful authority or reasonable cause.
Defence counsel, George Thomas made the successful application for the defendant’s pre-trial freedom until July 27.
