AT approximately 21:30 hours on Monday, taxi driver Samuel Pinder, 43, of Albouystown, Georgetown, was shot and injured in an armed robbery that occurred at Go-Slow Avenue in Tucville, Georgetown.
Pinder was allegedly in the process of taking two male passengers from Robb Street to Tucville, when he was held up by the two men, one of whom was armed with a handgun, and shot to the left side of his face before the perpetrators escaped with his silver-coloured Premio motor car, HA 2206.
Pinder has been hospitalised at the Georgetown Public Hospital (GPHC) while the police continue investigating the incident.
