Guyana Water Incorporated (GWI) is  advising  the general public that due to fluctuations in electricity supply by the Guyana Power and Light, the  water production sites cannot facilitate normal service.

According to a GWI release yesterday,  as a result of these power  fluctuations sections of Georgetown as well as the East Bank of Demerara from Agricola to Timehri  are experiencing water service disruptions.
However,  GWI Public Relations Department has assured that normal service will return when GPL restores full power to the water company’s  production sites.
Meanwhile, GWI  is apologising  for any inconvenience caused.
