MARK Sealey, 41, a dog food trader, appeared before Magistrate Fabayo Azore yesterday, on charges of using abusive and threatening language.
He pleaded not guilty to the offences which said, on Monday, June 27, in Cemetery Road, Georgetown, he abused and threatened Esther Warner.
Police Sergeant Ramsahoye Rambajue, prosecuting, told the Court that the virtual complainant is the mother of the defendant and was at home drinking with a male friend but, when her son arrived and saw them, he became annoyed and engaged in the abuse.
Sealey was ordered to lodge $10,000 surety on each charge and to return to court next July 16.
