Miss Guyana World has new franchise holder

POPULAR franchise holder for the Miss Guyana World Pageant, Ken Chung, has hung up his gloves and passed the baton on to the peppy and talented Natasha Martindale, who is presently negotiating with several local beauties to represent this country at the upcoming pageant, billed for September in Indonesia.

According to a press release, the Miss World Pageant, one of the world’s oldest and most prestigious beauty contests, has announced that New York-based Guyanese businesswoman and financial analyst Natasha Martindale has been awarded the Miss World Franchise for Guyana.

She will now be tasked with organising and hosting the Guyana leg of the international beauty event to find the best candidate to represent Guyana on the international stage, the release informed.
Miss World Limited, based in London, England, thanked previous franchise holder Ken Chung for his years of service, and offered him best wishes in his endeavours.
