A MAN is in police custody after ranks searched a minibus he was driving and found two motorcycles and a motor-cycle frame which they suspect were illegally brought into the country. Police reported that at about 04:00hrs yesterday, policemen manning a roadblock along David Rose Avenue, Linden, stopped and searched a minibus.
Police found two 150cc Honda motorcycles and a motorcycle frame that are suspected to have been brought into the country illegally.
The driver has been arrested and is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
Meanwhile, a party of policemen manning a roadblock on May 18, 2013 at Wisroc, Wismar, arrested two men after they stopped and searched a minibus in which there were three motorcycles that were brought into the country illegally through Lethem.
