JUSTICE Navindra Singh, one of the three judges assigned to the criminal session, on Tuesday, inspected the guard of honour and took the salute from a march past to mark the opening of the June criminal session of the Demerara Assizes.

The parade was by 60 ranks of the Tactical Services Unit (TSU) of the Guyana Police Force (GPF).
Following the opening ceremony, the serving jurors were addressed by Justices Singh and Brassington Reynolds.
